Some artists study in studios. I studied in life — and I've been drawing it ever since.
I'm ARTEMIS — the artist you've probably already seen at a community table, surrounded by curious strangers who stopped to watch and ended up staying. That moment, when art pulls people together, is what I've spent 50 years building toward.
With no formal training and no shortcuts, I taught myself to draw — sometimes for 12 hours straight — driven by nothing but the need to get better. Over 50 years later, that obsession has produced a body of work that is textured, character-driven, and completely unlike anything made by algorithm or art school formula. My influences are everywhere: Persian calligraphy, street-level characters, the chaos of everyday life. My work carries all of it.
Today I bring that energy to events, brands, and communities across Toronto and the GTA. Whether I'm drawing live at your festival, creating custom illustration for your campaign, or producing limited prints for your space — the work always starts the same way: with full attention, real craft, and something worth stopping for.
