SUMMER 2025

The summer I decided to say YES to every opportunity.

I was invited to attend many events this summer and the best part was that each opportunity led to the next. I met incredible artists, connected with people from all walks of life and realized that saying “yes” was the best decision I could have made.

I am excited that I also finally joined the Richmond Hill Group of Artists, something I had wanted to do for a long time. I feel that the group will push me to learn the best way to present my art - something I had been avoiding for years.

I am also now on the Board of the Richmond Hill Arts Council and am looking forward to creating and nurturing opportunities for fellow artists in the area. I am looking forward to meeting with other nearby Arts Councils, and learning from them and creating co-opportunities and hows, as well as events and venues where we can all come together to present the works of local artists, and introduce them to each other through talks, lecture series, round tables or just coffee shop meet and greets.

If you are interested in participating, or have an event that you think may use mine or my community’s presence, do reach out. We artists have to take care and support one another, because no one else will (am I right?!).
